2. Job Purpose / Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern (Java) to join our team. The intern will support the engineering team in building and enhancing software applications using Java, with strong focus on Data Structures and Algorithms, coding best practices, and real-world development tasks.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining applications using Java.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.

• Work on Data Structures and Algorithms for solving real-world problems.

• Support debugging, testing, and resolving software defects.

• Collaborate with team members on development tasks and project deliverables.

• Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices.

• Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge base.

4. Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Strong understanding of Java (Core Java, OOP concepts).

• Good knowledge of Data Structures (Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, Graphs, Hashing).

• Understanding of Algorithms (sorting, searching, recursion, time complexity basics).

• Basic knowledge of SQL / Database concepts.

• Familiarity with Git version control.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Spring Boot / REST APIs.

• Exposure to Microservices concepts.

• Knowledge of basic cloud concepts (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

5. Education Requirements

• Recently completed:

  • B.E / B.Tech (CSC/IT)

  • MCA Computer Science

6. Experience Requirement

• 0–1 year experience

• Internship/project experience in Java development preferred.

7. Internship Deliverables / Expectations

• Completion of assigned modules/features within agreed timelines.

• Code quality adherence and documentation support.

  • self-improving AI workflows

• Help set up an AI-native SDLC, including:

  • LLM + agent-based test generation

  • automated code review and documentation

  • trunk-based development

  • fast CI/CD pipelines

• Instrument and improve:

  • cost

  • latency

  • model quality

  • overall reliability

5.Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven features and prototypes.

• Build scalable AI workflows and backend services.

• Develop and optimize retrieval systems (RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search).

• Write clean, testable, and production-ready code.

• Contribute to experiments, evaluations, and model performance improvements.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI into real products.

6.Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or equivalent.

• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.

• Exposure to LLMs, embeddings, retrieval systems, or RAG concepts.

• Familiarity with APIs, backend development, and system design basics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

7.Good to Have

• Experience with tools like LangChain / LlamaIndex / OpenAI APIs

• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
